Mission:

Bring a better future to underprivileged children

 

Project History:

Hope For Children was established in November, 2010 as a part of AIESEC Vietnam initiative to clear the gap between our society and the underprivileged children, help children have positive mindset and right direction in life, contribute to their development by working directly and provide children education, recreation programs

 

Activities:

  • Providing education for underprivileged children at orphanages / shelters

  • Organizing special events on holiday for underprivileged children at orphanages

  • Organizing interactive trip to visit underprivileged children in remote areas

 

Achievements:

  • 2000 children from various shelters engaged in English education and outdoor activities

  • More than 100 interns from different countries joining and organizing project activities

  • Since 2010, there have been shelters in partnership with us to provide English education to children there:

  • Tre Xanh

  • Mai Son Chance

  • Anh Linh

  • Poussier de Vie organization (Tu Xuong and Phan Huy Ich center)

  • Binh Trieu

  • Ceporo

  • Hope For Children have organized many special events for underprivileged not only in Ho Chi Minh but also in other provinces on special occasions such as International Children Day June 1st, Mid-Autumn Festival and Christmas. Some of the most outstanding events are:

  • Mid-Autumn Festival 2012 in corporation with Standard Charter Bank at Thu Duc HIV children helping Center with engagement of 100 children and

  • Christmas event in Bao Loc with engagement of 300 children of minority ethnic group at Dambri Commune.

  • Especially this year, Hope For Children together with Nielsen organized “Global Nielsen Impact Day” on June 12th at  Thu Duc Youth Village with engagement nearly 100 children from 5-15 years old.
